Welcome
Who We Are
Heart to Heart Africa is a Canadian registered charity founded by a retired teacher and mother of four. Since 1988, she has volunteered her services as a teacher and supported individual students in Tanzania in achieving their educational goals. Knowing first-hand the value of education and having witnessed positive results, the objectives primarily are to advocate and to provide opportunities for universal education.
What We Do
We build schools in Tanzania to meet our goal of educating underprivileged children from families of low socio-economic backgrounds. We need help to do this, so one of the things we do is speak with communities; here in Niagara, elsewhere in Ontario, and in the United States. We talk about our vision and find help from like minded individuals. If a child has a desire to learn, the opportunity is there without the burden of cost.
What We Believe
We believe in educating children. We believe in creating experiences that foster growth for a developing child within a loving environment rich for learning. An investment in our children is an investment in the future. Its difficult to put a price on the value of education.
